Product Overview

The TY series FRP electric energy metering boxes developed by Teyi Electric Co., Ltd. are made of SMC unsaturated polyester resin glass fiber reinforced plastics through compression molding. They have the characteristics of reliable insulation, high strength, good flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, novel shape, smooth and beautiful surface, etc. The service life is more than 40 years indoors and more than 30 years outdoors, which is incomparable to other metal plastic electric meter boxes. This product is widely used in residential construction and civil power transformation. It can be combined with multiple households at will, and can also be installed in a single household or across households. It is easy to construct and has concealed wiring. This product adopts a strict rainproof design and is suitable for outdoor installation to ensure the safe operation of the electric meter.

Product use scope and conditions of use

TY series electric energy metering box includes two parts: single-phase meter box and three-phase meter box. It is suitable for AC 50Hz or 60Hz, rated working voltage up to 220V, 380V, 690V, rated working current of 10A-250A power supply system, for single-phase electric energy and power energy measurement and control management.

Conditions of use:

◆ The ambient temperature is -25℃ ~+50℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours does not exceed +35℃.

◆ The air should be clean, and the relative humidity should not exceed 80% at 40℃. Higher relative humidity is allowed when the temperature is lower.

Product installation and use

◆ Please carefully check the integrity of all parts of the meter box during installation.

◆ The meter box should be installed vertically and the tilt angle should not exceed 54°.

◆ The installation location should be selected where there is no severe vibration, impact, or corrosion to electrical components.

◆ The material used in the meter box is not resistant to strong alkali, oxidizing acid, amine, ketone, and soluble in chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents. Therefore, it should be avoided from contact or use with these chemicals. During use, sharp objects and hard objects should be avoided from colliding and scratching the surface of the meter box.

◆ When installing the meter box, try to choose a cool and dry place to avoid long-term direct sunlight to extend the service life of the meter.

◆ The fixing positions of the meter box for fixing on the wall or crossarm are all located inward, so the box must be opened before installation. First, remove the two upper cover fixing screws located in the middle of the lower part of the meter box, and then open the box according to the instructions here.

◆ According to the location of the installation holes, drill the installation holes at the corresponding positions of the wall, install the expansion tube, then fix the base to the wall and install the upper cover.
