Product Overview

Teyi Electric's TY series FRP electric energy metering box is manufactured using SMC composite material molding technology. The material is a composite of unsaturated polyester resin and glass fiber. The product has multiple advantages: excellent electrical insulation performance, outstanding mechanical strength, good flame retardant properties (in line with relevant fire protection standards), excellent corrosion resistance and anti-aging ability, and beautiful appearance design. Under normal use conditions, the indoor service life can reach 40 years and the outdoor service life can reach 30 years. The performance is far superior to traditional metal or plastic meter boxes.

This series of products has a flexible design and supports single-family independent installation or multi-family combined configuration, and is suitable for all kinds of residential areas and civil power distribution sites. Its installation process is simple and fast, it adopts concealed wiring scheme, and is equipped with professional rainproof structure design to ensure reliable protection for power metering equipment in outdoor environments.

Product installation and use

◆Component integrity check before installation: Before operation, it is necessary to fully check whether all components of the meter box (including accessories and fasteners) are complete and intact.
◆Vertical installation specifications: The box must be fixed vertically, and the maximum allowable tilt angle is no more than 54°.
Installation environment site selection requirements: Prioritize locations without severe vibration, mechanical shock, and corrosive gases or chemicals.
◆Material protection restrictions: The box material is not resistant to strong alkali, oxidizing acid, amine, ketone solvents, and is easily corroded by chlorinated hydrocarbons and aromatic solvents. Contact with such chemicals is strictly prohibited; during use, avoid collision with hard objects or scratching of the surface with sharp objects.
◆Light and humidity control: The installation location should be in a cool and dry area to reduce long-term direct sunlight to ensure the life of the meter.
◆Steps to open the box: With the fixing points facing inward, remove the two upper cover screws in the center of the bottom, and open the box according to the instructions.
◆Wall fixing process: Locate the wall drilling holes according to the box installation holes, insert the expansion tube and fix the base, and finally assemble the upper cover.
