Product Overview

The TY series FRP electric energy metering boxes developed by Teyi Electric Co., Ltd. are made of SMC unsaturated polyester resin glass fiber reinforced plastics through compression molding. They have the characteristics of reliable insulation, high strength, good flame retardancy, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, novel shape, smooth and beautiful surface, etc. The service life is more than 40 years indoors and more than 30 years outdoors, which is incomparable to other metal plastic electric meter boxes. This product is widely used in residential construction and civil power transformation. It can be combined with multiple households at will, and can also be installed in a single household or across households. It is easy to construct and has concealed wiring. This product adopts a strict rainproof design and is suitable for outdoor installation to ensure the safe operation of the electric meter.

Product installation and use

1.Preparation before installation
Component integrity check
After unpacking, you need to systematically check the integrity of the box, fasteners and internal structural parts to confirm that there is no transportation damage (it is recommended to keep unpacking video records)

2.Environmental adaptability requirements
Verticality deviation of the mounting surface ≤54° (needs to be calibrated using a level gauge)
The site selection should avoid vibration sources (such as within 3m of large equipment) and chemical corrosion areas (200m downwind of chemical enterprises)
Do not expose to strong acid (pH < 2), strong alkali (pH > 12) and organic solvent environment

3.Installation process
Step 1: Cabinet pretreatment
① Loosen the two M6 stainless steel fixing screws at the bottom (torque ≤ 8N·m)
② Separate the top cover and the base according to the "Product Disassembly and Assembly Guide"
Step 2: Fix the base
Position according to the Φ8mm mounting holes on the back of the box (spacing standard: horizontal 400±2mm, vertical 300±2mm)
Use M8 expansion bolts (tensile strength ≥ 50kN) to fix, the recommended embedding depth is ≥ 60mm
Step 3: System Integration
The cable introduction must maintain a bending radius ≥ 5D (D is the outer diameter of the cable)
The grounding terminal should be connected with 16mm² yellow-green two-color copper core wire

4.Operation and maintenance considerations
UV protection: A sunshade should be installed in areas with continuous sunlight (ASA material is recommended)
Mechanical protection: anti-collision warning signs are set within 1.2m around
Chemical protection: Only use neutral detergent (pH 6-8 range) for cleaning
